Yuluma Primary School utilises Connect to communicate with the school community, share important notices, newsletter, forms and student reports. Classroom teachers will also use Connect to share information relevant to your child.

Connect is a secure online platform developed by the Department of Education for staff, students and parents at public schools. This will allow your child to be able to share with you what they are learning anywhere, anytime. For parents, Connect provides easy access to information relevant to your child and their class.

For more information, please read the FAQ’s below or the Connect user guides on our website.

Connect is accessible via an app or website browser www.connect.det.wa.edu.au

Download Connect Now from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Will you notify me when there is a message or notice in Connect?

Yes. When a Notice is published an email is automatically sent letting you know a notice has been created. The message is included in the email, however if you wish to access any images or files attached, you will be required to log on to Connect. You are able to download Connect Now (free) and receive any notices as notifications on your phone.

What if I don’t really use email?

Connect Now, a mobile app, enables all parents to use their single sign on account details and have all notices/messages sent to their personal mobile device.

Can I reply to messages?

A teacher may sometimes invite you to respond to messages. When this happens a Comment button will be visible under the Connect Notice.

Who else sees the class notices?

Only parents and children attached to a teacher’s class are able to access class notices.

What if I forget my login details?

You can rest your own password or contact the school office for help.

Can I access my child’s report?

Yes, however these are accessible via the website only.
